A Christmas Story Must Have!!
I love this piece to my New A Christmas Story Village! I searched all over the internet and found this at a great price on Amazon. I was so in Love with The Christmas Story for years and have never had a Christmas Village before. So I went and bought each and every piece to this whole collection! Now I have the whole set in my Family room all lit up with all the characters too. You couldn't ask for a more beautiful village for the holidays!!

Large? Try Monstrous!
As an avid Department 56 collector I was reluctant to buy these trees simply because of the picture on Amazon. They just didn't look like the typical trees Dept 56 makes but on sale for[...] from [...] I had to snatch them up. I should have followed my original instinct. These tree are downright ugly in person and they aren't kidding when they say "large". These trees are bigger then most of the buildings Department 56 makes so not sure what these are intended for? A forrest of giants? Unless you have a HUGE area to display your village and you're into trees that look like they're made from green brillo pads don't buy these....even on sale!

Pink Flamingo FlingI have a thing for pink flamingoes so this is perfect. Although all Department 56 products are over-priced I love this and would pay for it again. The detail is terrific down to the covered trailer hitch on the end of the house. I am buying the Flamingo Motel next.

Pancake houseThis was a gift. It caught my attention because my nephew makes PANCAKES for his little girl and she calls them "DADDY PANCAKES". They have added it to their display of Dept. 56 and this one definitely has a special meaning for them. The box was shipped in a timely manner with absolutely no complaints for the sender.

Great copy for your table or mantle.
I ordered this keeping my fingers crossed because the description was St. Peter's and the picture was of St. Paul's in London. Sent a note to "image dept." and they blew me off. Sent a note to "customer service" and the pic was yanked 2 days later. This is one of 3 facades out in this collection (Notre Dame St. Paul's and St. Peter's) They are nice replicas. They are hefty so I don't have to worry about my cat knocking them over. They are battery operated and give off a nice glow. I have the 3 piece set and they look nice on a table. I am sure they will be lovely at Christmas time (my original intent for purchase). I'm not a "village" collector for the most part but this St. Peter's and the other two are very nice and I'm glad to add them to my home for the holiday.
